Why M.LASER is bringing laser heating experience to a desktop reflow workstation.
M.LASER is developing a desktop laser workstation for localized reflow soldering and component rework. Our focus is the workbench: the place where engineers refine prototypes and technicians repair circuit boards.
The workstation brings together laser area heating, temperature feedback, configurable process profiles and visual observation. Worktable preheating supports tasks where the board needs it. A board-holding fixture is planned as part of the system.
We are designing for professional users with sustained workloads. Component compatibility, process settings and operating limits need to be established for each application. Desktop size does not remove the need for process knowledge.
Our early demonstrations include component removal. These show one part of the development, rather than proving the full soldering process or the quality of hidden joints. We will share further progress as the workstation develops.
